Fundraiser: By bike from Vienna to Nice

Our Rotary friend Christian Stakelbeck, RC Köln-Kastell, is fulfilling an old dream – cycling through the Alps from Vienna to Nice.
Approximately 1,700 km and around 24,000 meters of altitude are to be mastered. In peace and serenity, he wants to tackle the bike ride and perform.
He is happy when Rotarian friends accompany him along the way.
The route: Vienna → Liezen → Ennstal → Schladming → Gerlos Pass → Innsbruck → Inn Valley to St. Moritz → Via Mala → Rhine Valley  → Furka → Rhone Valley → Chamonix → Grande Route des Alpes  → Nice.
He combines this bike tour with a fundraiser for the curative children’s home in Bensberg, Bergisch Gladbach. In this children’s home traumatized children in the age range between 6 to 14 years are prepared for the further life.
He also reports on the way about the tour and the fundraiser.
