A 18 000€ research grant was made possible to “Biomaker Laboratory” thanks to the contribution of the Rotary Club Montaperti Club Service in synergy with RCS-Gazzetta dello Sport, organizer of Strade Bianche and Granfondo Strade Bianche 2019 and of the Plastic Busters project. On the occasion of the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche, 82 cyclists –among them Cycling to Serve members from Italy, Germany, Belgium and France!!!- rode the Strade Bianche to contribute to the enhancement of the research project of the University of Siena Plastic Busters on micro-plastic pollution in the Mediterranean Sea and support the formation of a young researcher.
